Complementary Angles

Complementary Angle:

Two Angles are Complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle).Complementary Angle

Example: Find the complement of 60, 55 and 82.

Solution: Let the angles be x, y and z

  • X + 60 = 90. Hence x = 90 - 60 = 30
  • Y + 55 = 90. Hence x = 90 - 55 = 35
  • Z + 82 = 90. Hence x = 90 - 82 = 8
